Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd has joined hands with animation character Chhota Bheem for the promotion of road safety rules among kids. Pogo channel’s Chhota Bheem is a popular animation character in India.
Honda was planning to inculcate road safety awareness in kids and the idea was further enhanced with roping in the mythological strong boy to gel with the kids. This animation character is not just considered as the role model for the small children but gets the parents nod as well.
‘Honda Safe Riding with Chhota Bheem’ will be soon organised in 11 cities across India. During the event, Chhota Bheem will interact with the youngsters. The inauguration of the national event will take place in Delhi first. Later it will be followed by Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Jaipur, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Greater Noida and Nagpur.
This is expected to provide the youth an opportunity to gain information on safety riding and acquire other similar tips. The children will also be able to meet Chhota Bheem and get photographs clicked with him. The Super Hero will spread the message of road safety through fun and interactive activities like understanding road sense in CRF 50, painting competitions etc.
Yamaha too, unveiled their mascot to promote safety recently. Motorcycle manufacturers have been coming up with such ideas, which is a good thing. This will help the youngsters to imbibe good characteristics right from a smaller age and later follow road discipline making the streets a safer place.
