- Over 50,000 Jawa bikes sold in 12 months
- Company says this shows a healthy uptake in demand
- Delivered over 2,000 Peraks during this festive season
Classic Legends recently announced that it delivered over 2,000 units of the Jawa Perak bobber during this festive season. Now, in a new official statement, the company has claimed that it sold over 50,000 Jawa offerings in an effective 12 months of full operations. This is a collective sales figure of all three motorcycles in the brand’s portfolio including the Jawa Standard, Forty-Two and Perak.
Classic Legends says that this milestone hints towards a healthy uptake in the demand of Jawa in India. After a long hiatus, Jawa brand was re-launched in India in November 2018. Since then, the company has been trying to keep up with the demand. In the initial months, the waiting period for the bikes hovered between eight to 10 months. But now, it has been consistently working towards increasing the production capacity while expanding its dealership footprint in India.
The modern-classic bike maker has also ventured into the markets outside India recently. It has started exporting Jawa models to Nepal and Europe, where it claims there’s a surge in demand for these motorcycles.
