Hero MotoCorp will introduce the Duet and Maestro Edge in India this month. The company confirmed the launch of the two new scooters at the SIAM Annual Convention 2015.
The Duet is a unisex scooter, while the Maestro Edge is a product mainly to target male buyers. Both the scooters will be powered by a new 110cc air-cooled mill producing 8bhp of power and 8.5Nm of torque. They will feature a telescopic suspension in the front and also get the combined braking system.
The scooters have been spied testing several times earlier revealing many details. The Maestro Edge will be based on the standard Maestro, but will get a new digital-analog instrument cluster, restyled headlamps and tail lights, a 3D emblem and five-spoke alloy wheels. Similar is the case with the Duet that will feature all this equipment however with a new metal body and design.
The two new scooters have reached some dealerships and bookings might also start soon. Hero MotoCorp wants to make sure they are able to cash in to the demand of buyers on the onset of the festive season.
