Harley-Davidson India has announced a 30-day extension of product warranties that are expiring during the lockdown period. Moreover, the company will also provide a 60-day extension to customers who fall under the Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS) planned maintenance program.
The Harley-Davidson contact centre and Road-Side Assistance will continue to provide support services to all customers.
Apart from the extension of service warranties, Harley-Davidson India had also announced several new initiatives such as home deliveries of motorcycles and a completely online version of Passport to Freedom.
The company has formalised the Harley-Davidson Home Delivery program to help customers explore the models and then directly connect with a dealer expert via the dealer locator. The potential buyers can then discuss their purchase and payment details with the respective dealer. Harley-Davidson India’s home deliveries are free for distance up to 40km from the dealership. Post that, the company will charge for every extra kilometre.
The Indian arm of the American two-wheeler manufacturer has also pledged its support to PM Cares fund for fight against COVID-19.
