- TVS restarts production in India
- Three production facilities begin operations
- Exported over 8,000 units last month
TVS Motor Company has resumed operations in India at its three production facilities located in Hosur, Nalagarh, and Mysuru.
The company said in a statement that it will be adhering to safety guidelines that would keep the employees and community safe and help minimise the spread of the Coronavirus. Each of the facilities will also incorporate social distancing and hygiene to ensure a safe workplace. TVS Motor Company had temporarily shut down the factories as well as dealerships since 23 March due to the nation-wide lockdown. And while it did not sell any motorcycle or scooter in the country in April, the manufacturer exported over 8,000 units in the same month.
Nevertheless, once the situation normalizes across the country, TVS is expected to update its scooter line-up with the launch of the Zest 110 BS6.
