The two- and four-wheeler manufacturers in the country are announcing several measures to support their respective customers. India Yamaha Motor, too, has announced several benefits to ensure that the customers can avail free services and vehicle warranty which may expire during the lockdown period.
As a part of the Yamaha Lifetime Quality Care approach, the Indian arm of the Japanese two-wheeler brand has announced that it would extend the benefits for an additional 60 days i.e. till June 2020 from date of expiry. The company announced in a press statement that the following services will be extended:
- Services expiring between 15 March 2020 to 15 April 2020
- Normal warranty expiring between 15 March 2020 to 15 April 2020
- Extended warranty expiring between 15 March 2020 to 15 April 2020
- Annual maintenance contracts expiring between 15 March 2020 to 15 April 2020
In other updates, India Yamaha Motor has temporarily suspended production due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. As per the communication from the two-wheeler manufacturer, the production halt will be effective until 31 March 2020. It may, however, extend further as the country is under lockdown until 15 April 2020.
