- New entry-level bikes to be launched
- Likely to be urban products
Honda has decided to launch more entry-level motorcycles in the next few years. The company believes these bikes will gain more popularity, especially among people who have been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the company, there will be a drastic drop in people opting for public transport due to poor social distancing measures. As a result, a lot of Indians would want to have their own transport either for commuting to office daily or for daily chores. The Japanese brand would like to tap this new segment by introducing entry-level motorcycles.
Currently, the CD 110 Deluxe is the most affordable motorcycle in Honda’s line-up. So expect a few more bikes to be launched in the same price bracket or even a lower range. This bike is likely to be targeted towards urban markets.
