- Keeway SR 250 deliveries starting tomorrow
- To get a colour customisation option
- Priced at Rs. 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Adishwar Auto Ride India launched the Keeway SR250 modern-retro motorcycle at Auto Expo 2023 in January 2023. Now, after a few months, the company is all set to commence the deliveries of the motorcycle tomorrow, 17 June.
To create hype, the brand is executing the deliveries in an interesting format. It has announced a lucky draw for the first 500 deliveries of the motorcycle, amongst which five lucky buyers will get 100 per cent cashback on the ex-showroom price! Moreover, Keeway is also launching a new ‘My SR My Way’ online platform through which new buyers will be able to customise their motorcycles with different colours. This customisation will be carried out by the Adishwar group on an order basis. The stock colours available for the motorcycle include Glossy White, Glossy Red, and Glossy Black.
To spice things up, Keeway also intends to roll out a bunch of accessories for the SR250 and its smaller version, the SR125. The list includes a front visor, bash plate, backrest, leg guard, saree guard, seat cover, fuel tank cover, and hand guards. What’s more, the company will also release an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) which includes benefits like discounts on spares, accessories, labour charges (except accidental), and engine oil.
The modern-classic bodywork of the SR250 is packed around a 223cc, air-cooled engine that churns out 15.78bhp and 16Nm. This motor gets a two-valve head and a five-speed gearbox. As for the hardware, the motorcycle rides on 17-inch spoke wheels that are suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs. Bringing it to a halt is a 300mm disc at the front and a 210mm rotor at the rear along with dual-channel ABS. Weighing at just 120kg, it comes with a 14.2-litre fuel tank.
The Keeway SR250, which costs Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), mainly competes against the likes of the TVS Ronin and the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
