DSK Benelli has hiked the prices of all its bikes by up to Rs 43,000. This has been done due to the increase of VAT in various part of the country.
The price of the TNT 25 standard version has been increased by Rs 7000 and now costs Rs 1.77 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). Similarly, the premium version of the TNT 25 also costs Rs 7000 more at Rs 1.83 lakh (ex-showroom Pune). The Italian manufacturer has hiked the price of the TNT 300 by Rs 6000 and now retails at Rs 3.09 lakh from Rs 3.03 lakh. The highest price hike has been done for its highest selling model – the TNT 600i ABS. It was previously priced at Rs 5.44 lakh (non ABS) version(ex-showroom Pune) but now is sold for Rs 5.86 lakh (ABS version) – a whopping Rs 41,000 increase.This bike now gets ABS, so such a steep price increase is obvious. The price for the TNT 600GT has also been hiked by Rs 24,000 and now costs Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom Pune)
DSK Benelli didn’t even leave its slow selling models like the TNR 899 and the TNT R. The former is now Rs 35,000 more expensive at Rs 9.73 lakh, whereas the latter is now being sold at Rs 12.11 lakh (ex-showroom Pune) –a Rs 43,000 increase.
