Ducati just celebrated its 90th anniversary with its riders and fans at the World Ducati Week in Italy. But for Ducati, celebration also means, readying an exclusive limited edition motorcycle and that is the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario. Only 500 units will ever be built and we think that most of them will be booked in the next couple of days. This bike is genuinely very special, so it deserves a detailed picture gallery.
This special edition gets a red and white paint scheme to commemorate 90 years of Ducati. Ducati always uses this paint scheme for its special bikes.
The wheels are gold-coloured forged aluminium Marchesini wheels, which look absolutely stunning. This is something we usually don’t see in any motorcycle.
EVO version of the Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) systems are seen on this limited edition.
There’s also slide control which can be activated when the rider selects DTC 1. Rider will be able to modulate the rear wheel with the throttle.
Because it’s a limited edition, the bike gets a nice exclusive laser engraving that makes the bike look really special.
The exhaust on the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario comes from Akrapovic. The exhaust is gold in colour with a titanium covering.
It's equipped with a carbon fibre heel guard, rear mud guard, lithium ion battery and shock absorber cover. All this has reduced the weight by 2.5kg.
We would love to see one unit to come to India and we’re sure there’ll be at least one buyer in India, who will definitely get the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario.
