Ducati has announced the third edition of its customisation competition, ‘Custom Rumble,’ dedicated to Scrambler models.
The Custom Rumble is a biennial contest in which participants from across the world customise Scrambler motorcycles and the winner is felicitated at an international event. The competition in divided into five categories of which, four are meant for Ducati Scrambler 800 and Sixty2 models while one is dedicated to the flagship Scrambler 1100. One of these categories include ‘Cut-down’ which requires applicants to design a minimalistic bobber out of a Scrambler. Likewise, the other four categories include ‘Rocker’ (Café-racer-inspired Scrambler), ‘All-Terrain’ (enduro-styled Scrambler), ‘Outsider’ (free of any restrictions) and ‘Bully’ (only for Scrambler 1100).
The participants need to upload the images of their customised models onto the official Ducati Scrambler website and the winner will be chosen on the basis of voting by the viewers. The images are needed to be uploaded before 30 January 2020 while the audience voting will be recorded until 15 March 2020. Interested participants need to register for the Custom Rumble contest before 30 December 2019. Finally, the winner of the competition will be announced in May 2020 and will be rewarded at a dedicated event.
