Ducati has unveiled a new edition of the Diavel 1260 S for the international markets. Christened as the Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel, this new edition features cosmetic updates over the standard Diavel 1260 S. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the new Ducati Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel edition.
The new Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel edition is inspired by the concept of the Diavel “Materico” that was presented in 2019 during the Milan Design Week.
The styling changes over the standard Diavel 1260 S include a special livery that includes asymmetrical graphics. The motorcycle uses glossy grey and matte black as the main colours while a shade of yellow is added to give it a sportier look.
The yellow highlights are visible on the frame, the lower part of the tail, and on the dedicated seat badge.
The changes, however, are limited to cosmetic upgrades. Thus, the Ducati Diavel 1260 S Black and Steel uses the same motor as the standard Diavel 1260 S. The 1,262cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled motor makes 157.3bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 129Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The hardware on the motorcycle includes Ohlins-sourced, fully-adjustable suspension. The setup comprises 48mm upside-down telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking hardware comprises Brembo-sourced M50 callipers at the front.
Standard features on the S variant of the motorcycle include LED DRLs, bidirectional quickshifter, and Ducati Multimedia System.
The electronic rider aids comprise riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control system, wheelie control, cruise control, and launch control system.
