Ducati India is slowly but steadily giving the Indian market some really special motorcycles. After launching the beautiful Anniversario and the super exclusive 1299 Superleggera, the company has launched the Diavel Diesel in India at Rs 19.92 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi)
The Diavel Diesel edition is limited to only 666 motorcycles in the world and is the outcome of collaboration between Ducati's design centre and Andrea Rosso who is the director of Diesel Creative Licensing Centre. This motorcycle gets only cosmetic enhancements that is surely a treat to the eyes. The bike gets hand-brushed stainless steel treatment is some areas of the bike. The rivets and chassis welding are more prominent. Other bits like the tank cover, front cowl, and passenger saddle cover have been hand made to look very stylish. The seat is made of real leather to be more comfortable and attractive.
Mechanically, there's no change. The Diavel Diesel gets its 162bhp from 1200cc L-Twin motor which is known for its power delivery. Gearbox is six-speed which transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
The bookings for the Diavel Diesel has begun at all Ducati showrooms in the country. The deliveries will begin from August.
