- Based on the Hypermotard 950
- Gets a bold set of graphics, dry clutch and racing hand guards
- Could be sold as a limited-edition model
Ducati has unveiled the Hypermotard 950 Concept at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy.
The ‘Concept’ suffix is interesting as the production-spec Hypermotard 950 was globally introduced at the 2018 EICMA. However, the Hypermotard 950 Concept differs from the standard variant with the bold graphics which Ducati says, has been inspired by graffiti found on city walls.
So it gets a red and black paint scheme with ‘Hyper’ written on both sides of the tank. It also gets the number ‘03’ etched on the headlamp cowl and on the rear section along with the Ducati branding on the seat. Furthermore, it also gets dual-tone wheels finished in red and black with the side walls of the tyres in the same colours.
Besides the paint scheme, Ducati has added racing hand guards and a dry clutch to the Hypermotard 950 Concept. But apart from these changes, the bike remains the same. It is powered by a 937cc L-Twin engine that produces a peak output of 114bhp and 96Nm. Suspension and braking hardware are top-spec and have been sourced from Ohlins and Brembo respectively.
Ducati hasn’t revealed the pricing for the Hypermotard 950 Concept, it is likely to be introduced as a limited-edition model in the market. While the Concept is less likely to arrive in India, we can expect Ducati to launch the Hypermotard 950 in India by the end of this year.
