-New Graffiti Evo colourway introduced
-Powered by a 937cc, L-twin engine that makes 112bhp and 96Nm
-Gets a vast electronics suite
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE has received a new Graffiti Evo colour option for the bike sold in India. The new colour enhances the “youthful and sporty character” of the Hypermotard, says Ducati. We say that the bike does manage to look quite striking.
The Graffiti Evo colour scheme uses water decals that give it the effect of being sprayed and splashed on the beak, fuel tank and tail section. Streaks of red on the remaining portion of the fuel tank and beak add contrast to the appearance of the bike. The red seat and red paint on part of the wheels add to the visual drama of this Hypermotard 950 RVE.
The new colour does go with the manic nature of the Hypermotard 950 RVE. It is one of the most characterful, involving and entertaining motorcycles on the market. The bike is powered by a 937cc, liquid-cooled. L-twin engine that develops 112bhp at 9,000rpm and 96Nm at 7,250rpm. And the bike only weighs 193kg,
Also, as expected, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE is loaded with a comprehensive electronics suite. The list includes ride modes, cornering ABS, traction control, and a very handy wheelie control system.
Under the striking bodywork is a tubular steel trellis frame that has a 45mm, fully adjustable, Marzocchi USD fork and a Sachs monoshock with reload and rebound damping adjustability. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tyres. Braking is taken care of by twin, 320mm discs at the front with Brembo Monobloc calipers. At the rear, there’s a 245mm disc.
The Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE is priced at Rs 15.60 lakh, ex-showroom, India.
