Ducati India has released images on its social channels teasing the launch of the 2022 Hypermotard in the country. The motorcycle that was unveiled earlier this year will make its debut tomorrow, 10 November.
Now, to give you a brief, the 2022 Hypermotard receives quite a few changes to set it apart from the previous model. The 937cc Testastretta 11-degree V-twin-cylinder engine now complies with BS6 norms but continues to deliver 112.4bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 96Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm.
The design remains the distinctive supermoto style with minimal bodywork, twin under-seat exhausts a trellis frame, a wide handlebar, a flat seat, and 17-inch wheels. Ducati is expected to offer the Hypermotard in two variants- standard and SP.
Both variants get LED lighting, a 4.3-inch TFT display, removable passenger footpegs, as well as a USB power socket. As for electronic rider aids the motorcycle come with riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, and power modes. The top of the line SP variant gets a carbon-fibre front mudguard and timing belt cover. It also comes with Ohlins-sourced suspension and Marchesini forged wheels. On the other hand, the standard version comes with Marzochhi upside-down forks and a Sachs mono-shock.
It is expected to cost a premium over the previous model and come with a price tag of Rs 12.5-13.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
