Ducati India will launch a new variant of the Scrambler, the Mach 2.0 in India soon. A tweet from its official Twitter account revealed this detail.
Unveiled in June this year, the Mach 2.0 is a special edition based on the Scrambler Icon but gets some additional bits to justify the tag. The most obvious change seen on this model is the paint scheme which is inspired from the Bell Cross helmet featured in the 2017 Ducati Scrambler apparel collection. The paint work was done by the renowned bike builder, Roland Sands.
This Italian bike also gets a new lowered tapered handlebar, flat track seat and black exhaust. It also sports cylinder head covers and brushed cooling fins. Mechanically, there are no changes. The Mach 2.0 continues to get its power from the 73bhp 803cc L-Twin motor. Torque figure for this motor stands at 67Nm at 5750rpm. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox that transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive.
We’re expecting Ducati to ask anything between Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,000 more over the Icon variant. Being a special edition, expect the Italian manufacturer to bring only limited numbers to India.
