Ducati has introduced the new Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro in the UK at £18,995 (Rs 15.47 lakh). This is a new addition to the Multistrada range, which is expected to be also made available for the Indian market soon.
The Ducati Multistrada Enduro Pro is based on the Enduro. Ducati says that this new Pro trim is ‘even more globetrotter’ thanks to the new features it is equipped with. The new sand-coloured paint scheme, Pirelli Scorpion rally tyres and Ducati Performance bull bars (made by Touratech) with add-on LED lights have given it that edge over the standard Enduro. The Pro now rides on Pirelli Scorpion 120/70 R19 tyre in the front and 170/60 R17 at the rear. Like the Termignoni exhaust, the low screen is also offered as a standard. Furthermore, Ducati's Bluetooth module is carried over apart from these new technical plus points. Riders can pair their smartphone to the instrument cluster of the bike through Ducati's Multimedia system.
Also, to make the Multistrada Enduro Pro look visually different from the other Multistradas, the manufacturer has tastefully brought in some changes. The rough-textured sand-coloured paint job is well-complimented by the two-tone black seat, a black rear sub-frame, a black alternator and clutch covers.
The Pro derives power from the same 160bhp Testrastretta DVT mill on the Enduro. The host of electronics are also same as the Enduro, like the semi-active Ducati Skyhook suspension, wheelie and traction control, cruise control, riding modes, IMU and cornering lights too.
The new Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro Pro is supposed to further reinforce the off-road armoury of the Enduro. Globally, it takes the fight up to the KTM 1290 Super Adventure R and BMW R1200GS Rallye. Since Ducati Multistradas are already offered as CBUs in India, we believe Ducati India will offer this new bike through the same route as well.
