- Likely to reveal the Panigale V4R, 2019 Hypermotard and Diavel 1260.
- To be unveiled at 2019 Ducati World Premiere.
- Expected to arrive in India sometime in 2019.
Ducati has scheduled its 2019 World Premiere event for today wherein it is likely to unveil three new motorcycles.
We expect these motorcycles to be the Panigale V4R, 2019 Hypermotard and 2019 Diavel 1260. The Italian manufacturer had showcased the WSBK version of the Panigale V4 called the V4RS in the UK recently. The V4R however, is the road-legal iteration of the same. While it is likely to continue with an 1103cc, V4 engine as the standard bike, the V4R is expected to be more powerful. It could also sport carbon fiber components and a titanium exhaust to lower its weight.
Meanwhile, the Diavel 1260 may be powered by a revised version of the 1262cc, L-Twin motor from the XDiavel. Going by the spy images, Ducati has given the new Diavel a major cosmetic overhaul, drawing inspiration from the XDiavel too. It also appears to get a longer wheelbase and new frame along with top-spec suspension and braking hardware. For 2019, the Hypermotard is likely to get slightly more aggressive bodywork and neat-looking twin under seat pipes. We can also expect it to offer an updated electronics package and a slightly revised 937cc, L-Twin engine.
Along with these motorcycles, Ducati will showcase the 2019 Scrambler range and Multistrada 1260 Enduro which were unveiled last month. We can expect Ducati to launch these new motorcycles in India sometime in 2019.
