Ducati is likely to unveil the Multistrada 950 Enduro and the Multistrada 1260 at EICMA next month.
The Multistrada 950 Enduro is expected to be in tune with the bigger Multistrada 1200 Enduro and feature larger wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres, most likely to be Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres. The bike may also get an ‘Enduro’ riding mode; similar to its bigger sibling along with additional features like a bigger fuel tank and raised suspension travel.
Interestingly, Ducati North Americaoffers the Enduro Pro Accessory Package for the Multistrada 950. This bike features a skid plate, crash bars, radiator guards, added protection for the oil cooler, rear sprocket and rear disc, along with a shorter enduro windshield. It also gets wire-spoke wheels; a 19-inch wheel upfront and a 17-inch wheel at the rear with Pirelli Scorpion Rally tyres. Although how much of this will be carried to the Multistrada 950 Enduro is yet to be seen.
As earlier reports suggested, the Multistrada 1200 will get an engine upgrade and is likely to become the Multistrada 1260. It will share the same 1262cc Testastretta DVT engine used in the XDiavel, although the power output on the Multistrada is expected to be more.
We can expect the bikes to reach Indian shores by early next year.
