The Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario limited-edition motorcycle is now available in India. The company has listed the motorcycle on its Indian website and is available on order at authorised dealerships. For the uninitiated, the Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario commemorates the 30th Anniversary of the Monster brand and only 500 units will be produced.
What sets this bike apart from the standard motorcycle? For starters, the Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario wears a special, Italian Tricolore livery that takes inspiration from the sportiest iterations of the Monsters from the past. The way the Italian flag’s Red, White and Green colours flow across the bike has been neatly executed. The gold-coloured wheels add contrast to the bike’s appearance and there’s no denying the bike looks stunning.
Other elements of the bike that are exclusive to the Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario includes a dedicated animation on the TFT display, a special 30-year logo embroidered on the seat and a serial number on the handlebar clamp. A certificate of authencity is also shipped with the bike.
The bike also gets special components that have helped it shave 4kg in comparison to the standard bike. This was achieved by using forged aluminium wheels, lithium ion battery and lighter Ohlins front fork. The bike also has a Thermignoni exhaust.
Powering the bike is a 937cc, L-twin engine that makes 109.9bhp at 9,250rpm and 93Nm at 6,500rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. In terms of electronics, the bike has three ride modes- Wet, Road and Sport, traction control, wheelie control and cornering ABS.
The Ducati Monster 30 Anniversario with its limited edition run and special bits makes it a collectors item.
