The Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak gets a special paint scheme inspired by the red, black and white racing livery of their Pikes Peak race bike.
It gets the same bulky, yet aerodynamic fairing with the twin headlamp setup. Like the 1260 S, the 1260 Pikes Peak gets LED headlamp with cornering function.
While the other two touring-oriented variants get tall adjustable windscreens, the 1260 Pikes Peak gets a carbon fibre flyscreen with a small Plexiglas screen.
It also rides on lighter three-spoke forged aluminium wheels sourced from Marchesini. The carbon fibre fender and air intake covers give it a lightweight appeal.
Powering the 1260 Pikes Peak is the same 1262cc L-twin DVT engine, churning out 156bhp and 96Nm of torque.
The engine breathes out through a Termignoni exhaust system. Overall, the Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak is 6 kilograms lighter than 1260 S.
The suspension setup consists of 48mm Ohlins front forks and a TTX36 rear monoshock. Both are adjustable for preload, compression and rebound.
The brake setup consists of dual 330mm front discs with Brembo monobloc callipers and a single 265mm rear disc.
