Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak- What else can you buy

Ducati India launched the Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak in the country today. The new variant is priced at Rs 21.42 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak is an adventure tourer, you can opt for other bikes with different characteristics and body styles around the same price range. Here is what the list looks like-

You could opt for four superbikes, one from Ducati’s stables itself the Panigale V4. It is powered by a 1103cc, V4 engine that puts out 208bhp and 124Nm of torque. The Panigale V4 carries a price tag of Rs 20.53 lakh.

There is another Italian supersport in this list, the Aprilia RSV4 RR which retails at Rs 21.29 lakh. Powering the bike is a 999cc, V4 engine that churns out 195.5bhp and 115Nm of torque. The Yamaha YZF-R1 is priced at Rs 20.73 lakh. It uses a 998cc cross plane, four-cylinder motor that produces 197bhp and 112.4Nm of torque. 

The Japanese also offer the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR at a price of Rs 21.90 lakh. The bike is powered by a 998cc, inline-four engine that produces 197bhp and 113.5Nm of torque.

Kawasaki also has a sport tourer in this list, the Ninja H2 SX priced at Rs 21.80 lakh. The bike uses a 998cc, supercharged, inline-four engine that produces 194bhp and 137Nm of torque. 

There is the Triumph Rocket III Roadster retailing at Rs 22.45 lakh. The bike uses a 2294cc, inline-three engine which produces 146bhp and 221Nm of torque. In a similar body style you could have the Moto Guzzi Audace and Eldorado. The Audace will cost you Rs 22.74 lakh whereas the Eldorado will set you back by Rs 23.19 lakh.

While the Audace has a modern appeal thanks to the all-black theme and alloy wheels, the Eldorado gets a classic look with the spoke wheels and white-wall tyres. Both bikes are powered by a 1380cc V-twin engine, which delivers 95bhp and 120Nm of torque.

Indian Motorcycles also offers a cruiser in the form of the Chief Classic. It uses an 1811cc, V-twin Thunder Stroke 111 engine that churns out 161Nm of peak torque. You could get your hands on the Indian Chief Classic for Rs 21.50 lakh. If you are into custom choppers, the Aventura Choppers Pravega will cater to you.
