Ducati India will soon update its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Multistrada 950 S. In fact, dealerships have already commenced the pre-bookings for the updated model. Internationally, the motorcycle is available in three variants – Standard, S, and S Spoked Wheels. The local dealerships are accepting the bookings for the S variant of the Multistrada 950.
The Multistrada 950 S gets higher-spec hardware than the standard version. The feature list on the Multistrada 950 S includes electronic suspension with Ducati Skyhook Suspension Evo (DSS) system, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) up & down, a full-LED headlamp with Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL), a five-inch colour TFT display, Hands-Free System, Cruise Control, and backlit handlebar controls. The safety net comprises of riding modes, Bosch ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control, and Vehicle Hold Control.
Mechanical specifications on the entire Multistrada 950 range include a Euro5/BS6-compliant 937cc, Testastretta, L-Twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 111bhp at 9,000rpm and 96Nm at 7,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The anchoring tasks are performed by twin 320mm discs at the front and a 265mm rotor at the back.
The old Multistrada 950 was available at Rs 12,84,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The S variant, with its premium hardware, could carry a substantial premium over the old model.
