Ducati India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new Multistrada V2 in our market. The latest iteration of the company’s sub-1000cc sports tourer rivals the Triumph Tiger 900 range and the BMW F 900 XR in the Indian market. It is available in two variants and prices start from Rs 14.65 lakh onwards. Check out the variant-wise prices below:
Multistrada V2 Ducati Red Livery: Rs 14.65 lakh
Multistrada V2 S Ducati Red Livery: Rs 16.65 lakh
Multistrada V2 S Street Grey Livery: Rs 16.84 lakh
The new Multistrada V2 range retains the BS6-compliant 937cc Testastretta, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine from the Multistrada 950. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine on the Multistrada V2 is tuned to produce 111.5bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 94Nm of peak torque at 6,750rpm. Ducati has also managed to reduce the weight of the motorcycle by five kilograms.
The Indian market gets the S variant of the Multistrada V2 family. This version benefits from Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO semi-active suspension system. The standard bike, on the other hand, uses a manually-adjustable setup. The anchoring hardware on both variants comprises twin 320mm rotors with Brembo monobloc callipers at the front and a single 265mm disc with Brembo calliper at the back.
The styling cues include a twin-pod headlight, semi-fairing, tall windscreen, split-style seats, and a side slung exhaust. Further, the feature list comprises full-LED lighting, a five-inch colour-TFT display, cornering ABS, traction control system, vehicle hold control, and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro). The S variant also gets cruise control system, Ducati Cornering Lights, and Ducati Quick Shift Up & Down.
