- Ducati Multistrada V4 and V4 S to be launched in India on 22 July

Ducati has confirmed via its social media channels that it will launch the new Multistrada V4 range in the Indian market on 22 July, 2021. The company had commenced the pre-bookings for the adventure tourer on 16 July, 2021. Interested buyers can reserve a unit of the new Multistrada V4 by paying Rs 1,00,000.
Ducati India will offer the adventure tourer in two variants – Multistate V4 and the Multistrada V4 S. The S variant will have premium hardware over the standard model. Mechanical specifications, on the other hand, would be identical on both variants. The BS6-compliant 1,158cc, V-four, liquid-cooled engine would make 168bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 125Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm.
The feature list on the motorcycle will include a twin-pod LED headlight, Bluetooth-compatible instrument cluster, and a plethora of rider aids. The new Multistrada V4 will also be the first motorcycle in the Indian market to receive front and rear rider assistance radar-system.
The new Ducati Multistrada V4, which will rival the BMW R 1250 GS range in the Indian market, should arrive in the Rs 20-22 lakh (ex-showroom) price range. In comparison, the BMW R 1250 GS series is available from Rs 20.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) onwards.
