Ducati India has commenced the pre-bookings for the new Multistrada V4 ahead of its launch. Interested buyers can book a unit of the adventure tourer by paying Rs 1,00,000 at a Ducati dealership. The company has also confirmed that it will launch two variants of the motorcycle, the Multistrada V4 and the Multistrada V4 S in the Indian market.
Both variants of the Multistrada V4 range use the same 1,158cc, V-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 168bhp of power at 10,000rpm and 125Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. The oil change interval is scheduled every 15,000km while the valve clearance check and eventual adjustment are required every 60,000km. Among the wide range of features on the Italian adventure tourer is the front and rear rider assistance radar-system.
The test rides and the deliveries for the Multistrada V4 range will begin soon after the India launch. The motorcycle will be available on display across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, and Chennai.
The company will share details on price, variants, and the standard equipment at the time of its launch. We expect the adventure tourer to arrive in the Rs 20-22 lakh (ex-showroom) price range. The new Multistrada V4 range would rival the BMW R 1250 GS series in the Indian market.
