Ducati India’s latest offering in the ADV category is the Multistrada V4 Rally. It is based on the existing Multistrada V4 line but features off-road-specific equipment. Let's take a look at what the new Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally looks like.
A single glance at the Multistrada V4 Rally is all it takes to know how exotic of a motorcycle it is. From its large proportions to the purposeful build, the Multistrada V4 can easily draw the attention of passers.
Its fascia consists of a split LED headlight that looks quite aggressive, to say the least. The setup gets a radar in between and is topped by an adjustable transparent visor. Then, there is the secondary fender that also gets vents in between with a grille at the front.
Even from the side profile, the Multistrada V4 Rally’s tall stance is quite evident. The fuel tank, its shrouds, and the gill-shaped vents add to the bike’s visual appeal.
Powering the new Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is a 1,158cc, V-shaped, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. It makes 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 121Nm at 8,250 rpm. The setup is linked to a six-speed gearbox and also gets a slip-and-assist clutch. Ducati has also equipped the bike with an active cylinder deactivation system.
The company has employed a long list of electronics on the Multistrada V4 Rally for safety and convenience. It gets four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro), four power modes, wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control, cruise control, vehicle hold control, radar with blind spot detection, and cornering ABS. Then, there is a 6.5-inch TFT for monitoring all the electronics and the riding data.
Similar to the design, the Multistrada also gets premium hardware all over. It rides on 50mm fully adjustable front forks with Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO and a fully adjustable rear Cantilever suspension.
The brakes include twin 330mm front discs and a single 265mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are bolted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres.
Ducati is offering the Multistrada V4 Rally in two colours – red and black. The red paint scheme will cost you Rs. 29,72,000 and the black coloured model costs Rs. 30,02,000 (both ex-showroom, Pan India).
