Ducati has launched the 2024 Multistrada V4 Rally in India. The Italian ADV is offered in two colours trims – Ducati Red and Brush Aluminium Matte Black. Here is what you need to know about the 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally.
On the design front, the Rally trim is the same as the rest of the line-up. It sports a two-piece headlight topped by an adjustable transparent visor, Radar system in between, and a secondary beak below. The large and sharp tank shrouds with gill-like vents, tall and muscular fuel tank, and the two-piece seat are also common across the Rally and other versions of the Multistrada V4.
The Rally derives firepower from a 1,158cc, V-shaped, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that dishes out 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 121Nm at 8,250 rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch. Backing up the power is a set of electronics, which includes four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro), four power modes, wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control, cruise control, vehicle hold control, radar with blind spot detection, cornering ABS, and more. All of these are monitored on the 6.5-inch TFT screen that also supports smartphone connectivity.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally gets a premium set of hardware too. It rides on 50mm fully adjustable front forks with Ducati Skyhook Suspension EVO and a rear Cantilever suspension with full adjustability. The brakes comprise twin 330mm front discs and a single 265mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2 tyres. Since it is an off-road model, the Rally gets spokes with block pattern tyres to ride over ruts, gravel, and more.
The asking price for the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally in the red theme is Rs. 29,72,000 and the black colour variant costs Rs. 30,02,000 (both ex-showroom, Pan India). The ADV rivals the BMW R 1250 GS, Honda CR 1100L Africa Twin, and the Kawasaki Versys 1000.
