Ducati has recalled the Multistrada V4 in US. This recall is related to quality issues in its V4 motor and has affected 60 customers.
According the company, they found some quality issues with the valve guides on some of the V4 motor that could lead to excessive wear and could cause the engine to lose power and ultimately fail at the head. This issue has come from one of the two parts supplier that make this part for the Italian brand.
The company will replace the engine of this affected bikes with a new one that has been built at their facility in Italy. It has also asked its dealers to stop the sale of the Multistrada V4 with this faulty valve guides till that engine is replaced by them.
