- Priced at Rs 21.30 lakh
- Features a special livery dedicated to Troy Bayliss
- Retains specifications from standard model
Ducati India has announced the launch of the new Panigale V2 Bayliss in our market at an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 21.30 lakh. In comparison, the standard Panigale V2 is available at Rs 17.49 lakh. This version of the middleweight supersport model will be available in limited numbers. However, Ducati India has not revealed the total number of units that are reserved for our market.
The new Panigale V2 Bayliss is based on the standard Panigale V2. However, this edition is distinguished from the standard model through its unique livery that features a red base paint along with green and white coloured graphics. This motorcycle pays tribute to Troy Bayliss (Australian motorcycle racer) by featuring his race number 21 and his autograph on the fuel tank.
The changes are limited to styling revisions. Everything else, on the other hand, remains similar to the standard model. Thus, the new Panigale V2 Bayliss retains the 955, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder motor that produces 152.9bhp of power at 10,750rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The feature list includes projector LED headlights, an LED taillight, a 4.3-inch colour TFT display, carbon fibre and titanium exhaust cover, a quick shifter, and three riding modes (Race, Sport and Street). Other electronic rider aids comprise cornering ABS, traction control system, engine brake control, power modes, wheelie control, and auto tyre calibration.
All prices are ex-showroom, India
