-New stealth black colour available
-To be launched soon
-Powered by a 955cc, L-Twin engine
Ducati India has opened bookings for the Panigale V2 Black in India. This is, essentially, the Panigale V2 draped in a rather sinister-looking black paintjob. In a word, it looks stunning with the gloss black paint, with red stickering on the fairing, fuel tank as well as wheels. This new black colour should appeal to those who find the Panigale V2 in the Ducati Red colour a bit too loud for their tastes.
Technically, there are no changes. The Panigale V2 has a 955cc, liquid-cooled, L-twin engine that develops 155bhp at 10750rpm and 104Nm at 9,000rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The bike is loaded with electronics, including ride modes, power modes, cornering ABS, traction control, engine brake control and more. All of the settings for these features are accessible via the colour TFT display.
Moving to the chassis, the Panigale V2 employs an aluminium monocoque frame that is suspended by a 43mm, fully-adjustable Showa USD fork and a fully-adjustable Sachs monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II tyres. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 320mm discs with Brembo Monobloc M 4.32 calipers at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear.
The Ducati Panigale V2 is a proper supersport, with the firepower of an L-twin and an agile chassis making it capable of being hustled around racetracks or fast ghat sections.
The bike is priced at Rs 20.68 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
