- Ducati Panigale V2 bookings officially open at all dealerships in India
- Deliveries to start after its imminent launch
Ducati has officially announced that its dealerships are accepting bookings for the Panigale V2 in India. The booking amount for the motorcycle stands at Rs 1 lakh. Deliveries of the new Panigale V2 will begin soon after its official India launch which is likely to take place in the coming weeks.
Ducati had globally unveiled the Panigale V2 at its World Premiere last year as a replacement of the Panigale 959. The middle-weight supersport boasts of design closely similar to its larger sibling, the Panigale V4. There’s a dual-pod LED headlamp with eyebrow-like LED DRLs housed within an angular fairing. The sculpted fuel tank nicely blends with the contorted fairing while the high-set floating tail completes its styling.
The 955cc, L-twin, Superquadro motor of the V2 has been retained from the 959. It churns out 155bhp and 104Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick shifter. All the information is displayed on a 4.3-inch TFT dash while other electronic aids include traction control, cornering ABS, engine brake control and wheelie control.
Ducati is expected to price the Panigale V2 with a considerable premium over its predecessor 959 which was pegged at Rs 14.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
