The Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition has been unveiled and my word it looks stunning. The bike is a special, limited edition Panigale V2 that commemorates the company’s Superquadro, twin-cylinder engine. Here’s a look at the bike in images.
The most striking feature of the bike, as expected, is its design. The Panigale V2 alone cuts a beautiful figure but in the dedicated livery for the Superquadro Final Edition, it looks even more spectacular. Drudi Performance and the Centro Stile Ducati have collaborated to come up with the livery and we must say that the interplay between the red, black and the grey colours have been neatly executed.
What adds to the allure of the Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition are the special bits on the bike. It gets a carbon fibre exhaust end cap, swingarm protection, shock protector, chain guard and clutch cover. The Rizoma sourced, adjustable billet aluminium footpegs look premium while the serial numbered billet aluminium steering plate adds to the exclusivity of the bike. Afterall, only 555 units of the Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition will ever be built.
The bike is powered by a 955cc, twin cylinder engine that makes 155bhp at 10,750rpm and 104Nm at 9,000rpm. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox. A host of electronics like ride modes and traction control helps keep everything in check.
The Panigale V2 has a monocoque frame while suspension duties are taken care of by a fully adjustable 43mm Ohlins USD fork and an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock. The braking hardware consists of 330mm discs at the front with Brembo monobloc M4.32 callipers while at the rear there is a 245mm disc with a single Brembo calliper.
The bike is available in limited numbers and on a first come first served basis.
