Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition unveiled

The Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition has been unveiled to the world. This special edition Panigale V2 celebrates the end of the road for Ducati’s Superquadro twin-cylinder engine that traces its history back to the 1199 Panigale. It is limited to 555 units worldwide.The Ducati Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final edition distinguishes itself from the standard V2 both visually and in terms of features.

The beautiful fairing is painted in red, white and black while the fuel tank bears a dark grey colour that contrasts very well. The details like the Italian tri-colour or the outline of the forward facing cylinder head of the engine on the side fairing is a pretty neat touch. This particular livery has been jointly created by the Centro Stile Ducati and Drudi Performance.

Coming to the special bits on the Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition, it has a billet aluminium steering plate that bears the serial number of the bike. It also gets carbon fibre components like the exhaust end cap, swingarm protection, shock protector, chain guard and clutch cover. Additionally, it has Rizoma billet aluminium foot pegs that are adjustable. Lastly, the rider’s seat has the bike's logo and Italian tricolour flag sewn in.

The Ducati Panigale V2 Superquadro Final Edition is powered by a 955cc, twin cylinder engine that makes 155bhp at 10,750rpm and 104Nm at 9,000rpm. Under the pretty bodywork, you’ve got a monocoque frame with the engine as a stressed member.

The suspension components consist of a 43mm Ohlins USD fork and a Ohlins TTX36 monoshock. These are fully adjustable. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres. Braking is taken care of by Brembo monobloc M4.32 callipers that bite onto 320mm discs at the front while at the rear there is a 245mm disc with a single Brembo calliper.

As for the electronics, it's got multi-level traction control, ride modes, anti-wheelie, quickshifter and more.

Ducati will be allocating a few units for India and deliveries will be based on first come first serve basis. Expect it to be priced between Rs 27 lakh to Rs 30 lakh, ex-showroom.
