The Ducati Panigale V4 has started arriving across European dealerships with a starting price of GBP 19,250 (Rs 17.05 lakhs).
The bike was unveiled at the 2017 EICMA in Milan and production began less than a fortnight later. By the end of 2017, Ducati produced 500 motorcycles which have now been shipped to Europe. Over the next few weeks, the Panigale V4 will be available across the globe; with the bike expected to be unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo in India.
The Ducati Panigale V4 is the manufacturer’s first mass-produced V4 powered motorcycle. The supersport bike uses a 1103cc 90-degree V4 engine that produces 214bhp and 124Nm of torque.
The Panigale V4 is expected to be priced around Rs 36 lakhs in India. When launched, the bike will compete against the Aprilia RSV4, Yamaha YZF-R1, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and the BMW S1000RR.
