- Ducati Panigale V4 to be launched this month
- Bookings commence at select dealerships
- To be offered in two variants
Ducati India has teased the launch of the BS6-compliant Panigale V4 on its social media channels. Moreover, the motorcycle is expected to arrive in the country sometime this month with select dealerships accepting pre-bookings for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh.
The Ducati Panigale V4 will be available in two variants- standard and V4 S with the latter fitted with lightweight Marchesini wheels and electronic suspension sourced from Ohlins. However, both versions of the Panigale V4 are powered by the 1103cc V4, Desmosedici Stradale engine that is capable of churning out 208bhp and 124Nm. The 2021 Panigale V4 also comes with an aero package that comprises winglets that offer 30kg of downforce at 270kmph and a ‘racing windscreen’.
Its electronics package includes Bosch cornering ABS, wheelie control, traction control, launch control, slide control, bi-directional quick shifter and engine brake control. As for pricing, the Panigale V4 is likely to be priced at a premium of around Rs 1.5 lakh over the previous model. And apart from the V4 and V4 S, we can expect Ducati to also introduce the SP and R models of the Panigale V4 in the country eventually.
