Ducati has started accepting bookings for its halo superbike - the Panigale V4. The Italian marque will be bringing only 20 motorcycles in the first lot for 2018, with each bike retailing at Rs 20.53 lakhs (ex-showroom).

Dealers have started accepting bookings for these bikes for a token amount of Rs 5 lakhs. Deliveries will commence in July. Besides, the first two customers will get a free seat at the Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course that will be conducted at the Sepang MotoGP circuit in June.
The new Panigale V4 marks a new chapter for Ducati, as the company moves from an L-twin to V4 powertrain for its flagship model. It sports the same familiar looks with the edgy dual headlamps up front, single-sided swingarm and the raised tail section. It gets a new five-inch colour TFT screen with two layouts for road and track. Under the skin, the Panigale V4 features a completely new powertrain – a 90-degree V4 Stradale engine with an output of 214 horsepower. The Panigale V4 goes up against the Aprilia RSV4 RR, Yamaha YZF-R1, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Honda CBR1000RR and the BMW S1000RR.
