Ducati's flagship sportsbike, the V4 Panigale, has begun production. The company celebrated this milestone with a small ceremony at its manufacturing facility in Borgio Panigale, Bologna, Italy. CEO Claudio Domenicali and plant director Silvano Fini drank a toast to the first-ever four-cylinder machine to roll off the factory's assembly line.
The V4 Panigale has derived a lot of technology from the manufacturer's MotoGP project, and with a host of electronics, especially in V4 S guise, promises to be able to make use of its 214bhp effectively to take the lead in the hotly-contested litre supersport segment. We can expect it to make its way to Indian shores sometime in 2018.
