- 692 Panigale V4s are being recalled due to fuelling system issues
- Base model, S and the Special variants are a part of this recall
- Might have a fuel leak if the O-ring was damaged during the production
Ducati’s flagship is being recalled in the United States. Around 692 Panigale V4s are being recalled due to issues with the fuelling system.
The breathing system valve plug on the Panigale V4 might have a fuel leak if the O-ring was damaged during the production. There’s a second recall as well that involves the fuel tank cap which could spray gas when opened. This issue is connected with the breathing issues within the fuel system.
Ducati is currently in the process of contacting the affected customers. They will be asked to bring the bike to the nearest service centres where the O-ring will be replaced free of charge. The technicians will rework the fuel cap to improve breathing.
Ducati India managed to sell quite a few V4s in India. But the company confirmed that the Indian units are not affected by this recall.
