-Ducati to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Scrambler next year
-Unveils 10th Anniversario Rizoma Edition of the Scrambler Icon Dark
-To be limited to 500 units
Ducati will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its successful Scrambler line-up next year. To commemorate the occasion, the Italian brand has unveiled the 10th Anniversario Rizoma Edition of the new Scrambler Icon Dark which will be limited to just 500 units worldwide.
This version of the Ducati Scrambler has been created in association with the Italian motorcycle component and accessory maker Rizoma which specialises in things like handlebars, clip-ons, mirrors, footpegs, and levers. Rizoma designs all of it in-house and machines them from solid aluminium billet followed by anodizing them in different colours to suit the preferences of its customers.
The 10th Anniversary edition of the Scrambler features a dual-tone, black-and-white paint scheme for the fuel tank and the tail section while the rest of the cycle parts are finished in black. Most of the Rizoma accessories, such as bar-end mirrors, hand levers, front brake master cylinder, and fuel tank cap, are black anodised. Meanwhile, lending it some bling are engine side covers, cam belt covers, windscreen, and footpegs, which feature Metal Rose colour.
The mechanical specifications of the motorcycle remain the same as the standard Scrambler Dark Icon. Powering the bike is an 803cc, air-cooled, SOHC, V-twin engine that produces 71.87bhp and 65.2Nm. It rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination with USD forks and a monoshock, both sourced from Kayaba. The list of electronic aids includes multi-level traction control, multiple power modes, and a quick-shifter, all of which can be monitored and tweaked on a small TFT screen.
Ducati will put the Scrambler 10th Anniversary Rizoma edition on sale in the international markets around March 2025. The chances of the brand allotting any units of the bike for India are slim.
