Ducati has updated its India portfolio with the launch of three Scrambler motorcycles. Among the list is the new Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro that joins the Pro and the Sport Pro in the Indian market. The Dark Pro is the most affordable version of the Scrambler 1100 Pro family and here we list the top five highlights of the motorcycle.
Design
The styling cues are similar to the other Scrambler 1100 Pro models and the new Dark Pro, too, comes equipped with a round headlight, an LCD instrument cluster, 10-spoke alloy wheels, flat seat, and a tall-set exhaust setup. However, unlike the other Scrambler 1100 Pro models, the new Dark Pro gets a matte black colour with natural anodised aluminium parts and classic style rearview mirrors.
Engine
The complete Scrambler 1100 Pro range uses the same 1,079cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the Euro-5/BS6-compliant motor produces 84.48bhp at 7,500rpm and 88Nm of torque at 4,750rpm.
Hardware
The suspension setup comprises Marzocchi, fully adjustable 45mm upside-down front forks and a preload and rebound adjustable Kayaba rear mono-shock. The braking tasks are performed by twin 320mm rotors at the front and a single 245mm disc at the rear.
Electronics
The electronic rider aids include selectable riding modes, power mode, cornering ABS, and traction control system.
Price
The new Scrambler 1100 Dark Pro is the most affordable model in the Scrambler 1100 Pro series. It has been launched at Rs 10.99 lakh. In comparison, the Scrambler 1100 Pro is available for Rs 11.95 lakh while the Sport Pro is priced at Rs 13.74 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom, India).
