- Ducati to launch two new Scramblers tomorrow
- Priced expected to start from Rs 11.5 lakh
- Powered by a 1079cc, L-Twin motor
Ducati is scheduled to launch the Scrambler 1100 Pro and Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport in India tomorrow, 22 September.
The prices for the motorcycles are likely to start from Rs 11.5 lakh for the 1100 Pro and go up to Rs 11.8 lakh for the Pro Sport. Now, the two models have similar styling. They feature a retro-looking, full-LED headlamp, asymmetrically mounted instrument cluster, and dual under-seat exhausts. However, one can tell the Scrambler 1100 Pro and Pro Sport apart based on their paint schemes and a few other elements. While the 1100 Pro will be offered in an Ocean Drive colour, the 1100 Pro Sport gets a Matt Black paint with bar-end mirrors and a tan brown seat.
Furthermore, the Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport gets top-spec Ohlins suspension at both ends whereas the 1100 Pro uses Marzochhi forks upfront and a Kayaba-sourced monoshock. Nonetheless, the two models are equipped with Brembo Monobloc M4 calipers as standard. Even the electronic suite is similar with both models getting a Ride-by-wire throttle, three riding modes, Bosch ABS and Ducati Traction Control. Ducati has also plonked in the same 1079cc, L-Twin engine in both motorcycles. This motor churns out 83.5bhp at 7250rpm and 90.5Nm of torque at 4750rpm.
