After launching the Panigale V2 in India, Ducati has launched yet another BS6-complaint model, the Scrambler 1100 Pro. The full-size scrambler is available in a Standard and a Sport variant and we tell you the top highlights of the motorcycle.

The overall retro-inspired design of the Scrambler 1100 has remained majorly the same as the previous model. However, there are subtle changes such as new colours for the fuel tank and a different pattern on the seat. While the Standard variant gets a tall handlebar, conventional mirrors and blacked out USD forks and monoshock, the Sport variant comes equipped with a lower handlebar, bar-end mirrors and golden suspension. The latter also gets a matte black fuel tank with sportier decals.

The list of electronic aids available comprises of a ride-by-wire throttle, Bosch cornering ABS, four-level Ducati Traction Control (DCT) system and a set of three riding modes – Active, Journey and City.
Engine
The 1100cc, air-cooled, L-twin engine of the Scrambler is now Euro5/BS6-compliant. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and belts out 86bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 88Nm of peak torque at 4,750rpm.
Cycle Parts
Ducati has bestowed the Scrambler 1100 Pro Sport variant with higher-spec Ohlins suspension at both ends while the Pro Standard model comes equipped with 43mm Marzocchi forks at the front and a monoshock sourced from Kayaba at the rear. Whereas, the Brembo braking hardware is common for both comprising of dual 320mm discs with radially-mounted caliper up front and a single 245mm disc with a single caliper at the rear. Their 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with Pirelli MT60 RS tyres.
