- Scrambler 1100 Pro unveiled
- Gets cosmetic changes
- Powered by 1078cc engine
Ducati has unveiled the pro version of the Scrambler 1100. This model is an extension of the current line-up and will be sold at most of the markets.
The Scrambler 1100 Pro gets some design changes through updated graphics, new seat, new exhaust, shorter rear fender and low-mounted number plate holder. The major design highlight of this bike is the massive ‘1100’ sticker on the fuel tank that does make the bike look cool. Other cycle parts like Ohlins suspension, shorter handlebar and café racer styled mirrors continues to be part of this Ducati.
Mechanically, there are no other changes. The Scrambler 1100 Pro continues to be powered by the same 1078cc air-cooled V-Twin engine. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The electronics package remains the same. So things like riding modes, traction control system and ABS are seen on this bike.
Ducati is expected to launch the Scrambler 1100 Pro in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, this model didn’t do well in India. So there’s very little motivation for Ducati India to bring this model.
