Ducati has released a video teasing a new motorcycle called the Scrambler Hashtag. The bike will be unveiled on the company's official website tomorrow and will exclusively be sold online.
The Scrambler Hashtag will initially be available in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain. However, it is expected to make its way to other countries soon after. Ducati India has not confirmed if the bike will make its way here. While the manufacturer has not revealed any details about the bike, we can expect it to be based on the standard Scrambler. It is powered by an air-cooled twin-cylinder 803cc engine, that produces 73.9bhp and 68Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and final chain drive.
The idea of selling bikes online isn’t a new one; there have been plenty of limited-editions with online ordering processes in the past. Nevertheless, the Scrambler Hashtag is Ducati's first motorcycle to be sold over the internet without being in limited numbers.
