Ducati has unveiled the Scrambler Hashtag on their official website. The bike is based on the Scrambler Sixty2, which is sold internationally.
The Scrambler Hashtag gets an all-black paint job with orange badging. It sports blacked out components along with a seat that is borrowed from the Scrambler Desert Sled. Powering the bike is a 399cc L-twin Desmodromic engine that produces 40.3bhp and 34.3Nm of torque.
The Scrambler Hashtag is unique as it is only available for purchase online. However, contrary to what you are expecting, the bike won’t be delivered on the customer’s doorstep. The bike needs to be reserved online by spending 500 GBP (Rs 45,000) after which the reservation voucher needs to be taken to a Ducati dealership for the purchase to be finalised. The total cost of the bike i.e 6990 GBP (Rs 6.3 lakhs) has to be made and a delivery date would be allotted. Deliveries of the Scrambler Hashtag will begin in March.
Ducati is also offering a 20 per cent discount on accessories and apparel for Scrambler Hashtag buyers. For now, the bike is only available in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal. On the other hand, the Scrambler Hashtag is highly unlikely to arrive in India as Ducati would not be able to price the bike well.
