- Likely to feature a bright paint theme
- Mechanical specifications likely to be similar to Scrambler Icon
- Launch/unveiling details unavailable yet
Leaked EPA documents have hinted at two Ducati motorcycles, the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak and the Scrambler Icon Bright. We have already brought you a detailed report about the Pikes Peak edition of the Italian ADV tourer, and you can read all about it here. The Pikes Peak edition has existed in the past, and thus we could list our expectations about the motorcycle. The details about Scrambler Icon Bright, on the other hand, are scarce.
The Australian certification revealed two photographs of a Ducati Scrambler that featured a bright yellow paint, bar-end mounted mirrors, and a flat handlebar. It also got Scrambler Full Throttle-style side panels and rear cowl. However, unlike the Scrambler Full Throttle, the Scrambler revealed by the Australian certification used wire-spoke wheels with block-pattern tyres instead of alloys. The graphics, too, are relatively different when compared to the Full Throttle. So, could this be the Scrambler Icon Bright? It’s too early to make any concrete statements, but it could be a possibility. We’ll wait for Ducati to make an official announcement.
Mechanical specifications should remain identical to the existing Scrambler range. Thus, the Icon Bright should come equipped with an 803cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder motor. The engine is tuned to deliver 71.8bhp and 66.2Nm on the standard Scrambler Icon, and we could see similar numbers on the Bright edition.
