- Scrambler Nightshift priced at Rs 9,80,000
- Desert Sled available for Rs 10,89,000
- Both models use a 803cc, L-twin-cylinder, two-valve engine
Ducati India has updated its product portfolio with the launch of the BS6-compliant Scrambler Nightshift and Scrambler Desert Sled. The Scrambler Nightshift has been introduced at Rs 9,80,000 while the Scrambler Desert Sled will be sold at Rs 10,89,000 (ex-showroom, India). The bookings for the new Scramblers are now open across all Ducati dealerships and the deliveries will begin immediately.
Both variants of the Scrambler family are powered by the same 803cc, L-twin-cylinder, two-valve engine that makes 73bhp at 8,250rpm and a maximum torque of 66.2Nm at 5,750rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox that features a servo-assisted slipper function.
While the engine specifications are similar, the Scrambler Nightshift and the Scrambler Desert Sled feature completely different styling. The Nightshift variant is road-biased and it features a Café-Racer style flat seat and a wide handlebar. The off-road focussed Desert Sled, on the other hand, comes with a rugged design that’s emphasised by a tall-set front fender, high plate holder, variable cross-section handlebar, adjustable Kayaba Suspensions, and Pirelli SCORPION RALLY STR dual-purpose tyres.
The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is available in 'Aviator Grey' colour while the Desert Sled can be bought in the Sparking Blue paint option.
