Ducati recently updated the Scrambler line-up in India with two new motorcycles; one of which is the Scrambler Nightshift. So without further ado, we tell you all that you need to know about the motorcycle.
Styling
The Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is based on the Scrambler Icon. To set itself apart, the motorcycle gets a dark theme- unlike the rather colourful options in the rest of the range- with majority of its components finished in black. The fuel tank and side panels are finished in an interesting silver shade which, if you look closely, gets hints of blue in the paint.
Bodywork
Now, the Scrambler Nightshift comes in as a replacement for the Cafe Racer and Full Throttle models. And the bodywork the Nightshift has seems like a mix of the two motorcycles it replaces. There are bar-end mirrors, spoke wheels wrapped in dual-sport tyres, number plates on the side as well a cross-stitched seat.
Engine
Nonetheless, like the rest of the range, the Scrambler Nightshift uses a BS6/Euro5-compliant 803cc, air-cooled L-Twin engine. This motor churns out 72bhp at 8,250rpm and 66.2Nm of torque at 5,750rpm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Features
As for its features list, the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift is equipped with a round LCD instrument cluster, an LED DRL in the headlamp with custom-style LED turn signals on each side. The motorcycle also gets cornering ABS, a hydraulic clutch as well as adjustable clutch and brake levers.
Pricing
Ducati India has priced the Scrambler Nightshift at Rs 9.80 lakh, ex-showroom. The bookings for the motorcycle have already begun and deliveries are expected to take place immediately.
